I would like you attention ones more for this very special gentle lady.

This is Stella and she has been through a lot.

She lived on the streets for a long time

To scared to make friends with humans.

She had a big litter of puppies and was hiding them in the forest.

Trying to care for her babies she would go to the village looking for food and was noticed by the villagers who contacted the authorities.

They came, took her puppies but left mum behind on her own.

Kind people started to feed her and win her trust.Months of dedication to this beautiful mum who had nobody else to trust and rely on.

They won her trust and it was time to bring this girl into safety. But the shelter was full ( as usual ) no fosterhome found

So they had to take her home with them.

She was sterilised straight away, chipped and vaccinated.

Then treated for a urine infection

And on top of that another operation to remove a mama tumor.

Then a place at the shelter appeared and Stella came to us.

That was hard for Stella. The shelter is a busy place with lots of dogs and lots of volunteers

And Stella had to learn to trust all of them….

And that was very hard for her.

She hid herself in a tiny doghouse and did not move in front of us.

She would not come out for a treat, not to great us, not to go for a walk, not for her biscuits.

The only thing that was good enough to make her move while we were present was the pasta with moelas we cook for our dogs every day…..

But Stella doesn’t have a bad bone in her body and she would let us stroke her inside her small kennel and learned that we were not gonna hurt her. She listened to us when we told her we love her and only want her to feel loved and enjoy life

We made her come on walks enforcing her to come out with lots of treats and patience.

We tried to give her some dogfriends to relate to and learn from

But the fact is that Stella still is an old lady who is not so shure about everything. She shows more happiness, wags her tail for us.

She comes to the playpen and sometimes has a walk around and dares to enjoy herself

But other days it is to difficult for her.

We think that Stella needs the safety and comfort of a real home.

A warm bed , a human just for her

Acces to a safe garden for some sunbathing,

A short walk now and then. Good food ( because Stella loves food )

And lots and lots of love and patience

She deserves it so much after a long and harsh life.

Stella is around 10 years old

Takes tablets for a heart deficiency

She is 50 cm high

And weighs 25 kg

She is the sweetest and softest dog you will ever meet

And she deserves a home
