Let me introduce you to Navarro. An absolutely stunning long haired Portuguese podengo with green eyes.
Navarro is still young ( under a year) but allready has been through a lot.
He was found abandoned in the forest on his own by one of our volunteers.
Probably abandoned by a hunter with a sick sense of humor because he chopped off his tail,
Chopped of the outside toes of both hind legs
But Navarro is still a happy little thing who still trust people, loves other dogs and pretends nothing has happened to him…. Dogs can be really amazing and Navarro definitely is really amazing.
He loves to play and run, enjoys people and the company of other dogs.
He is a real podengo so very alert, active, agile and with a hunting instinct
But also very soft and sweet and a perfect family dog for active people
Navarro is about 10 months old we think,
45 cm high and currently 11 kilos but he could do with some extra weight put on
