Jaco was brought to us by someone who found him running along a motorway.
He was quite nervous at the shelter and seemed to be stressed by having so many dogs around. He shared a kennel with another male for a while, but then they started fighting – we don’t know exactly why, but the other male can be defensive with food, so that might have been the cause. It made Jaco more nervous and defensive so, for now, he’s in a kennel by himself. That doesn’t mean that he couldn’t live with other dogs, shelters can be very stressful for some dogs and we think that Jaco is one who will be much happier in a home.
Jaco loves people, including children, and loves cuddles and attention. All our visitors fall in love with him instantly! We are looking for a loving home with a nice garden, and a family with the time and love to help Jaco regain his confidence.
Jaco is around 5 years old and weighs 16kg.
