Alfredo freed himself from a chain and was found by one of volunteers during a heatwave, close to collapse. He looks like he was neglected on the chain and had lots of small wounds from flies and other insects on his face. It’s hard to determine his age, a hard life ages a dog more quickly and he could be anywhere between 5 and 8 years old.
Despite his history, he’s a happy boy and is always in good spirits. He didn’t have a chance to explore when he was on the chain and is making the most of it now, he loves a walk or a visit to the playpen. He is a big cuddle bear and is great with children, he would be great for a family who are looking for a calm, easygoing dog. He’s fine with other dogs but, like most dogs who have lived on a chain, is also quite happy on his own.
Alfredo is around 20kg, with short legs.
