Tobias had lived on the streets with his family for many years before coming to us. We don’t know whether he ever had an owner, but neighbours had been feeding the stray dogs for at least three years.

Tobias was in a terrible state when he came to us, with scabies and leishmaniasis, but the scabies was easily treatable and the leish – while something he will have for life – is controlled with one cheap tablet a day. He is now a happy, bouncy dog who loves cuddles and going for walks. But most of all he loves Belle, his companion on the streets for years and now his kennel mate at the shelter. He was so happy when we were able to catch Belle and reunite them! We would love for them to be adopted by the same family after they have spent all this time together.

Tobias is around 6 years old and weighs 13kg.
