Denniz was on the streets for some time and was being fed by some people in the area, but they asked us for help to find him a proper home. When he arrived at the shelter, it was clear that he needed some help. He was full of fleas and mites so we treated those straight away. He only has half a tongue, possibly a result of being poisoned by processionary caterpillars, but has learned to eat and drink without it, albeit slower than normal. He has cauliflower ears and a limp and has obviously had a tough life. But he is such a happy and friendly old boy, loving life at the shelter with all the attention and treats that he gets. He would love a proper, comfortable home for his final years!
